So, after a lot of time, Train Capacity 300% (aka Mansha300) still visited Steam. This game has a complicated past, it literally went through fire and water in order to enter the European market.
The fact is that initially the game was released only for the Japanese market and distributed through the DLsite, which, by the way, has been blocked in Russia for some reason for a long time, and the Europeans are not particularly interested, because there are very few products on the service that are somehow translated into English. Moreover, Japan is a peculiar country, with strange laws, culture and its own problems. The H-game market in Japan is incredibly developed, and at the same time, incredibly neutered, so Train Capacity 300% was waiting for a similar fate – the game is both good and bad at the same time.
My acquaintance with Train Capacity began with the DLsite version, while the game did not really have an English translation, half of the interface sparkled with hieroglyphs, and the text translated through gtranslate not only deprived the game of a clear narrative, but also stupidly did not fit into the game interface, which made it necessary to talk about what was happening in the game. I can only guess. Nevertheless, it was interesting enough to play it to wait for the official European version of the game with normal English.
In the current Steam version of the game (it was called the World Version), the English translation and fonts have been fixed, so now you can play it quite comfortably. In addition, the Steam version of Train Capacity 300% allows you to install all paid DLCs for free, previously released only for the DLsite version (you will have to register on the developer’s website and download the patch).
Plot
Japanese people at 300% Train Capacity have a pretty hard life, and Japanese women have it even harder. The number of suicides committed by girls against the background of rape is growing from year to year, and the most common place for such rapes is public transport.
We play as a typical Hentai man of pre-retirement age. Our main character has behaved decently all his life, as they say – he worked regularly, did not break any laws, in short, a typical good worker of 50 years. Everything would have been fine, but in his long “righteous” life he never “lived.” He doesn’t have friends, a wife, a spacious apartment, or other attributes of a successful person. The hero is going off the rails, there is a job, there is a salary, but he has not tried out the “thrills”.
In search of a source of “thrills”, he decides to stop visiting the ladies on the train, on which he travels from home to work day by day. And then it started….
Gameplay
Yes, imagine, against the background of the dominance of the H-market with visual novels with a choice of dialogues, there is some gameplay in Train Capacity 300%.
In front of us is a simulator of a “groper”, our task is to find a target – a beautiful girl – to sit in one of the carriages with her, and, playing a difficult mini-game, take over her body in a place completely not intended for this purpose – in a train carriage.
It won’t work to molest just anyone – for this we were “allocated” 10 girls, each of them has its own character and its own story, its own “vulnerabilities” and a storyline. At the same time, the game session lasts 16 days (32 round trips), during which time we need to reach one of the endings with one of the girls represented in the game. Each of the girls has her own schedule, her own carriage, which they board at a specific time. In order to pick up a specific girl, you will have to study when she goes to/from work, and which of the carriages she gets on. Such an unusual element of stalking turns out.
In Train Capacity 300%, there are time constraints everywhere – the distance from one station to another varies from 10 to 60 seconds, during which time we need to bring the girl to “condition”, after which we insert our organ into the available technical hole. At the same time, you also need to avoid getting caught – vigilant citizens are quite capable of sounding the alarm if you do not act carefully enough. Gotcha? Well, maybe you’ll be able to escape from law enforcement, otherwise it’s a bad ending.
In total, the gameplay is divided into 3 phases.
Phase No. 1 – We are at the station and choose the carriage we will board.;
Phase No. 2 – We find our goal in this car, come closer and start groping, trying not to attract the attention of others;
Phase 3 – Home/University – that is, we reached our destination. In this phase, you can upgrade your skills, chat with the girls you meet, earn money by streaming harassment videos, and so on.
The game is a bit of a roguelike
The prettier the girl, the more difficult it is to pester her (she attracts more suspicious glances), and therefore, before trying to pick up a flight attendant, you will have to pump up a little. By pestering girls, the player accumulates experience. The earned experience points are spent on acquiring additional skills that greatly simplify the gameplay, in addition, by posting photos of their “exploits” on a local social network, the player builds up an audience of supporters who also reduce the number of suspicious glances on the train (i.e. they’re kind of on the train, but they came to watch, not to catch my hand).
The girls themselves also have a kind of pumping – each of them initially has erogenous zones, one gets turned on faster by touching the ass, the other gets turned on by kissing, but in the process of touching, even the most frigid ass will start to turn on faster with each level of progress in this area =).
Any ending (even a bad one) allows you to start the game over, while retaining the accumulated experience. Both the player’s accumulated experience and the girls’ sensitivity are transferred to the new race.
Wankability
It’s worth making a remark right away – the game is from Japan. In Japan, it is forbidden to show human genitalia (which is why most of their H-games draw goblins, tentacles and other obscenities instead of people). In order to circumvent local laws, the Japanese censor all genitals with pixels.
The question arises – and if all the explicit H-scenes are in pixels, besides, they are static art – what should I do? Yes, that’s what’s “wrong” with the 300% Train Capacity! During gameplay, the game creates the right “mood”, while you can even paw the girls by playing with one hand. And when the game finally switches to narrative mode, she’s..in general, that’s it…There’s not much to offer you, except for censored CG art.
Nevertheless, for the right “mood”, I would still put the Train Capacity 300% at least 3 ❤❤❤ Wankability out of 5❤. Yes, art is not their strong point, but the process of obtaining it is pleasant enough for the body, and pixels in this case are not a hindrance.
Verdict
Considering the cost of Train Capacity 300% on Steam, I do not recommend buying this game for wank, it is too expensive for such content. But I can’t call it a bad game either – I liked it even when there was no normal English version in nature.
However, if you are not embarrassed by censorship, but are attracted to the genre with harassment of girls in public places, the game will pay for your pleasure by 300%, because there are simply no alternatives to such a realization of such content.
If you decide to buy the game on Steam, you’ll have to fuck around a bit. Initially, the Steam version contains 6 characters out of 10. The developers had to cut out the girls who don’t match from the Steam version…according to European standards, i.e. they look too young, or the scenes with them do not pass the filter. After purchasing the Steam version, you will have to download a free patch from the developer’s website, and you will have to register on it (and the site is in Japanese). The whole thing creates additional barriers to purchase, and I fully understand the indignant buyers. As for me, since you have entered the “global market”, then everything needs to be done beautifully, with user-friendliness and all that.
There are many endings in the game, be prepared for the fact that not all of them may be positive. Be prepared for the fact that in order to open all the endings, you will have to repeatedly touch the beautiful girls on the train =) And also choose the right options in the dialogues.
