Oh, how much noise this Vampire Survivors has made, how many clones have spun off from seemingly such simple and understandable mechanics, even there are already 5 clones “for adults” in my personal experience. So the game being reviewed today, Eden Survivors, is another H-clone of Vampire Survivors, this time completely free, distributed through the Nutaku service.
It is important to note that there is a game with a similar name on Steam, but Eden Survivors on Steam and Eden Survivors on Nutaku are two completely different games =)
To play, register using the link, download the APK (for Android), or Windows Desktop (then the game will run in the Windows client). You can play through the browser, but I haven’t tried it – I prefer the client version.
Gameplay
Almost all games with the prefix “Survivors” in the name are built on the same principle – our character is attacked from all sides by a crowd of monsters, the player’s task is to hold out for a certain time, kill the final boss and move on to the next mission. Completing the task is complicated by the fact that the player does not directly aim at enemies – he only moves the hero, accumulates experience from enemies, and selects randomly dropped weapons and powerups for each level.
Depending on the weapon, the hero himself carries out an attack either in the chosen direction, or simply attacks around himself, or randomly sets traps, etc. At the same time, the enemies are quite diverse – some simply run towards the player, others release damaging projectiles, make sharp attacks or breed monsters around themselves.
At the end of each run, the hero receives account experience and in-game currencies for character development and powerups.

Since Eden Survivors is a shareware game, you won’t be allowed to run endlessly on missions – you need to spend 5 energy on each trip to the story campaign. The maximum energy reserve is 30, it recovers slowly, once every 15 minutes, but in fact this is a good thing – such a system does not allow you to fail in the game for a whole day.
In addition to the storyline campaign, the player is also given the opportunity to complete daily missions, as well as participate in challenges to earn passive skills.
Girls act as passive powerups in Eden Survivors – each of them increases the effectiveness of a particular weapon or passive skill, the girls themselves drop out of the local Hut, or farm in the story campaign. It is very rare for in-game events with time limits to take place in the game, so in 1.5 months I managed to participate in two such events (some kind of launch and New Year’s). Both events were 100% successful without any problems with donations and other infusions. Events in addition to Gacha tokens accelerated the development of the account and presented several animated H-scenes.
Wankability
There is quite a lot of H-content in Eden Survivors, but the scenes themselves open slowly. Once a day, girls arrive at the local Eden Bar, with whom you need to develop a relationship. In fact, you can either chat with them or give them drinks. If you guess with your favorite drink, you will get a huge increase in “sympathy”, an increase in the level of intimacy and, as a result, H-content. It is very depressing that such actions also require energy, and this energy is restored only the next day. The bar can be “pumped up” by increasing the amount of energy, the number of girls who come at the beginning of the day, their rarity, etc., but all this depends on the number of days played. However, this is not very frustrating, because the game has good gameplay.
There are a total of 24 girls in the game, each with 3 to 6 CG scenes, plus rewards for completing the campaign and in-game events. Some H-scenes are animated, most of them are really just static images, although they are beautifully drawn.:

For good drawing and good animations, I’m ready to put Eden Survivors 3 ❤❤❤ Wankability out of 5 ❤. If H-content opened faster, it would be possible to put a “four”.
Verdict
Personally, I really liked the game – compared to other shareware crafts, Eden Survivors has a good relaxed gameplay. To confidently progress through the story, it’s enough to log into the game a couple of times a day, while the time spent in Eden Survivors will not seem pointlessly lost – you didn’t just poke at the icons, didn’t go through the autoboy game, as in other free projects, but played a nice simple roguelike normally. I recommend it!
